Organic and Peptide Synthesis Symposium

2^nd edition – Florence, Italy

 

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

on behalf of the Scientific Committee it is our pleasure to invite you to participate at 2^nd edition of MAOPS, “2nd International Microwave-Assisted Organic and Peptide Synthesis Symposium”, which will be held on April 27-29, 2011, in Florence, Italy.

Growing technologies in sciences have been directly connected with the discovery and investigation of new chemistry. Recently the use of microwave irradiations is dramatically increasing. Therefore the meeting reflects the current interest in expanding microwave applications in both organic and medicinal chemistry.

Following the stimulating environment of the previous edition, the Symposium will show an overview of recent trends and developments on microwave chemistry, joining scientists from all over the world.

The meeting will have a particular emphasis on:

• application of microwaves in catalysis and polymer chemistry: state of the art and future perspectives;
• combinatorial and peptide chemistry using microwaves;
• microwaves as innovative technologies in green chemistry and solvent-free reactions;
• microwaves in organic chemistry.
